Appearance: Erion has a petite, slender build, something he has always hated in himself. He is short for a boy, standing at around 5'6". He has proportionately small, delicate features. His face is youthful and rounded. His nose is hooked at the end, and his expression usually looks rather pinched, as if he is smelling something distasteful. He has dark brown hair cut short and very dark, almost black eyes. His dark features clash with his pale skin. Erion knows nothing of clothes, and wears only what seems practical and comfortable.
Personality: Erion is not a people person. As a general rule, he dislikes people. He will find a reason to despise anyone, from small quirks to huge, insurmountable flaws. He goes into a situation believing he will like none of the people involved, so first impressions don't even matter that much. In general, he's a huge snob, and it's very difficult to befriend him.
He has a strong dislike of crowds, the bigger the worse. Part of it is that he hates being touched by people he doesn't know, and he also has a fear of being trapped. Another fear is of germs. Erion is irrationally concerned about what germs people might be carrying around with them.
Erion has very old fashioned views of society due to his upbringing. Despite his own feelings towards men, which he has yet to acknowledge, he believes that homosexuality is wrong. He is also uncertain about the amount of power women have in the Weyr. Despite the Weyr's liberal atmosphere, the allure of joining the fabled dragonriders was irresistible.
As an archivist, he spends a lot of time in the record room, poring through history and copying over damaged records. He has a very precise, legible hand. He also enjoys musical performances, although he cannot sing well or play an instrument himself. In general Erion is obsessed with the history of Pern, and loves to tell stories of the heroes of the past.

Information: Erion Impressed this flitt about two turns ago. The egg was a turnday present from his grandmother. Monster's hide is pitch black, with irregular blotches of brown and red. He is not a pretty thing and Erion likes to joke that the spots are blood stains. Although Monster is not particularly long, he is bulky, built like a tank. Rather aggressive and dominant, Monster does not always play well with others. He is also very possessive of Erion.
History
Erion was born in Orillia Hold, the son of a fighting guild member and his loyal wife. His mother died in childbirth, and he was raised by his father and grandmother. Erion was a runt, one of the smallest boys in the Hold, and he was always being teased. He worshiped his father and at first wanted to be a fighter like him. However, as he got older it became apparent that Erion was no warrior. Instead of being a fighter himself, he threw himself into learning all about great men of the past. Erion began training with the Harpers of Orillia, studying history. He worked in the archives of the Hold. Erion liked the work and planned to continue his Harper training, but then he was Searched.

Preferences: Female dragon please? I like cross impressions. I don't have any specific preferences on color and pattern. Surprise me, that's the fun part of having unlimited appearance possibilities! I'm fine with him being mauled, even with semi serious injuries. (Who doesn't want to see the snobby boy get his comeuppance?) For personality, I think it's fun to have a dragon that is somewhat different from their rider. Although it could be fun for him to have a dragon that is a little snobby and vain too, I could also see him Impressing to something ditzy and girly, just to make his life difficult. I'm generally pretty open about personality as long as it isn't something like "quiet, dependable,
