I can't feel my senses I just feel the cold Frozen... But what can I do? Frozen...
Noraali lifted her gaze towards the council chamber which rested in the midst of the Rider's Weyrs. She was going to be sitting here, helping to guide the Weyr. Lead it in what was to come. This was the place she was to sit. The place she was to be made a leader of. She was young still - or she felt like it anyways. her thirty-two turns was not exactly the youngest a leader had been voted into the position. Not that that made a whole lot of difference to her. REally... she still felt too young. Compared to the former Weyrwoman's near sixty-seven turns... she was quite young. The woman was mroe than twice her age and had led the Weyr well for many turns. Until recently. She had retired. The Weyrleader was soon to be chosen as well. It was simply time for new leaders.
You should stop thinking so deeply on the matter of why you were chosen and find someone to spend some time with. After all, I know you get lonely, my love. The voice of her dragon was a bright spot in her mind and she smiled. The creature was downright annoying sometimes, but she was a beautiful dragon - that was most certain. She was also very good at guiding her Weyr.... or at least to a point she was. She wasn't always the freindliest or easiest to deal with dragon in the world.
She smiles and laughed a bit. Oh, Ehty.... I'm sure someone will be alogn sooner or later to keep me company. Perhaps our new Jr. Weyrwoman. Or maybe one of our transfer riders..... or perhaps maybe just a rider.
The small little queen snorted in annoyance. I was thinking the kidn of company you really need - someone you might... you know, like. Learn to care for you. You tend to make yourself be very alone. THe dragon was being her rather obnoxious motherly self right now.
Noraali just sighed and shook her head, running a hand along the worn wood of the council chamber's main table where decisions had been made for so many years.
