Amaelie is of small stature, only standing at 5 feet and four inches tall. She's slender and willowy, a fact that is normally hidden by the white coat she normally wears. (think doctor's labcoat). Her skin is pale, attesting to the fact that she's not much of a flyer. She wears glasses when she's working and when she's reading, so that's most of the time. Her eyes are Blue, fading to darker blue towards the center.
Personality:
Amaelie is your quintessential nerd. She always has her nose burried in books or over research notes. Amaelie basically lives at the library, it's her favorite place in the weyr. She's quiet, and only allows herself to stand out at all when she's defending her research. She doesn't quite fit in with your typical crowd.
She's shy, preferring to spend all day with any plant, creature or egg she can come into contact with. To get on her good side, bring her a research subject! She's usually irate and snippy when you interrupt her research and that's really the only time you'll ever hear her voice raised. The only time she's really talkative is if she's being asked about her research or you've cornered her and she has to talk to get back to her lab.
